An open letter to the Android Community and specially to Purnima Kochikar, director of Google Play, Apps & Games at Google.
March 26th , 2020 I Received Google Play account termination email. It mentions it is due to prior violations of “associated accounts” outlined in previous emails.
I have never received any communication prior the termination regarding any infringement or warning in previous emails regarding to an “associated account”.
On the same day I appealed using appeal form because Google Play lacks of a proper Developer Customer service by phone or assigned account manager.
4 days later on March 30 , 2020 I received an email telling me that my appeal has been rejected.
Open Challenge to Google Play Dev Team,
I left my corporate job for the present virus epidemic situation and decided to start my career as a freelancer. After researching on many sector, i decided to grow up my career in android app developing. Before this step i have never knew about Google play console account. Even i didn’t get any apps related warning or any other mail from Google Play Dev . I’m so much surprised to get such a direct mail that my account is associated with another account. I’m challenging you please provide any proof of association.
Dear Google Play team,
For god sake, if you don’t want to accept new developer then please stop taking new application. We know that you are balancing your users . That is okay. But what about us. I have also invested in Google ads to promote my apps. And just 1 email spoiled the whole thing in a matter of minute.
My last word,
Hey Google play dev team, please consider to re-check my appeal and i believe wholeheartedly if any human will check this issue my associated account problem will be solved. Please don’t ruin my career at the first stage.
N.B. Please @Alldevlopers share my story and help me to get back my account.
Special thanks to Pablo A. Martínez and Tokata for inspiring me to write a open letter to Google play dev team.
